To celebrate Earth Day, we decided to join forces and — even though we work from different corners of Poland (and even the world!) – do something together for the planet. That’s how our initiative “Feeling Green” (“Zielono mi”) came about, in which each of us planted something green.

In the first stage, we invited our team to sow or plant something that would serve as a daily reminder of this initiative. The results? Our employees’ desks and balconies bloomed with basil, mint, geraniums, ferns, and pollinator-friendly plants. Each of these plants, whether it ended up on a windowsill in Warsaw, Wrocław, or hundreds of kilometers away, became a small but visible symbol of our shared commitment to caring for the environment.
We didn’t stop at balconies. For every photo of a planted plant that employees submitted as part of the campaign, GS Services planted one tree. This way, individual, at-home gestures translated into a real, measurable contribution to restoring greenery – and our team turned a moment of attention devoted to a single pot into concrete climate action.
“Feeling Green” is, for us, more than just a one-time Earth Day campaign. It’s a small gesture on a global scale, but a big step in building a responsible organizational culture – one in which caring for the planet is a natural part of everyday work, not an exception once a year.
